Using MCJ to Practice SQL Commands - Part 2 - Creating Some Records

Mountain Climbing Journal (MCJ) is a journal application that includes a SQL Tool to query the database using an embedded SQLite database engine. In Part 1 we created an initial database. Now, let's add some records. The empty cup-like icon that is yellow, below, is what is used to add a blank record. It turns yellow when you click the icon. Just click it three times and enter a title and subject:



While creating entries, the border will change red until the entry is saved:



To save the entry click the Kên icon, the one on the far right:



All three entries are now saved:
